English: The 5S00 SERIES press fittings for multilayer pipe by General Fitting have been designed and tested to be used with 6 different clamping profiles (TH, H, U, B, F, CH). The fittings can be used in hot and cold water supply systems for sanitary or heating/cooling purposes, in any type of hydraulic installation (commercial, domestic, industrial and agricultural), in compressed air systems and generally with non-aggressive fluids. The body of the straight-straight fitting is made of brass, while the bushing is made of AISI 304 steel. The geometry of the straight-straight fitting allows for excellent coupling between the pipe and the straight-straight fitting after pressing and the windows on the bushing holder allow you to check the correct insertion of the pipe. Two O-Rings guarantee the seal and reliability of the product over time. The plastic insulating ring prevents electrolytic corrosion. In the case of concealed installations, avoid contact between the cement mix and the metal parts of the straight-straight fitting. Since the straight-straight fitting type is irreversible (not removable), it is possible to position the straight-straight fitting under the wall, taking care to protect it with suitable materials.
